Wish I could

I ordered in advance on the website over the time frame requirement. When my son went to pick up, nothing was ready and they could find the order. I had to send the email confirmation with everuthing on it. They were able to pick up some of the items. But no cake. It has been 12 years since my husband who is Celiac had carrot cake. I ordered it special for his birthday. I had to pivot and went to Sobeys and got a dessert there day of the party.

The owner left a voicemail this week apologizing, which I thought was kind. I still haven't seen a refund for the items that we didn't receive.

I am so sorry for what happened. As I mentioned in my voicemail, we experienced a system glitch that prevented your order from appearing on the production list the day it should have been printed. Unfortunately, another customer's order was affected in the same way.

When your son came to pick up the cake on Saturday, we immediately processed a full refund to his Visa card. I have since verified that the refund appears on our merchant statement, which is why we did not also process a refund through your original online payment. As a small gesture of apology, we also included four Honey Crullers.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused. Situations like this are extremely upsetting to us, as we take great pride in providing reliable service and making every customer's special occasion a success. We have investigated the issue to help ensure it does not happen again.

So great!

Bought this cake for my hubby’s bday party. One guest has Celiac Disease and 4 others have severe nut allergies. The cake was super yummy and moist. People couldn’t believe that it was free from those allergens. The cake can also be made vegan or dairy free which is amazing! I’m very happy with this order and would highly recommend this cake.
